Overview & Audience
The brief
Reverto, a key provider of training and awareness on psychosocial risks through educational VR films, entrusted me with the visual redesign of their web platform. This platform enables clients to manage their VR headset fleet and available experiences, while also serving as an internal tool for the start-up. Following their brand identity update, the goal was to refresh the visuals while enhancing the user experience.
Target audience: All users, both external clients and internal team members.
The UI challenge
Taking an existing platform built incrementally over time with varying visual styles—yet all tied to the legacy branding—and harmonising it with the new brand guidelines, while maintaining overall coherence and a strong UX focus.
Exploration
Design intent
The objective was to preserve the product’s core visual mood while adapting it to the new branding. To avoid disrupting existing users, my focus was primarily on refining the visual layer (UI) and only altering the underlying UX when truly necessary or urgent, ensuring the user journey was never overcomplicated.
My exploration centered on a primary pillar—modernity: employing deep blue hues and soft gradients to deliver a sleek, current tech aesthetic.
Since the brand identity was brand new, the key challenge was translating the visual language I had previously created for print and brand identity into a scalable web format designed to evolve across future updates.
From concept to execution
Implementation
Once the design concepts were approved by the project manager, I built the various interfaces directly in HTML/CSS using Visual Studio Code. Having not yet fully mastered React and JavaScript at the time, I worked closely with the developers to bridge the gap between design and functionality.
As the platform continuously evolves, this new visual direction was itself further refined and adjusted across subsequent updates.

Project impact
This was my first major project within the product team—an invaluable immersion in collaborative work across back-end, front-end, and design. I wore multiple hats: UI designer, UX designer, graphic designer, and end user. This taught me to step back and adopt an iterative approach to interface design rather than treating it as a one-off task.
The project achieved two strategic goals. First, clarity and cognitive comfort through a clean, readable interface aligned with Reverto’s new guidelines, without sacrificing smooth navigation. Second, a contemporary design that evolves the platform while staying true to its original vision.
