Overview & Audience
The brief
Reverto entrusted me with the visual customisation of their web player, designed to transpose their immersive experiences from VR headsets onto the screen.
Target audience: clients looking to raise awareness among a large number of employees, without the logistical constraints of VR headsets.
Objective: to deliver an enjoyable experience that fosters learning, even on challenging topics.
The UI challenge
Reverto’s content sometimes addresses sensitive topics that may resonate with personal experiences. The key challenge was to adapt the visual identity to this new distribution format while keeping user emotional response and cognitive comfort at the heart of the design.
Exploration
Design intent
The goal was to adapt the existing brand guidelines while taking into account constraints specific to the web and video players. During the redesign of the Reverto platform, I ensured the visual identity worked seamlessly in both light and dark themes—a principle carried over here.
My research focused on two core axes. On one hand, calmness and modernity, using shades of blue and soft gradients to create a sense of serenity while maintaining a sleek technological feel. On the other hand, cinema serving awareness, crafting an experience reminiscent of a dark cinema room blended with the futuristic aspect of virtual reality.
From concept to execution
Implementation
Once the design concepts were approved by the project manager, I built the interfaces in HTML/CSS using Visual Studio Code. Having only a basic knowledge of React and no JavaScript experience at the time, I worked closely with the developers to ensure consistency between form and function.
This project builds upon the Reverto platform redesign: sharing the same visual foundations, but facing different challenges. The goal was to harmonise the use of the brand guidelines while respecting the unique traits of two distinct media.

Project impact
This project allowed me to explore the design of a format used daily without a second thought: the video player. As my second major project with the product team, it reinforced what I had begun learning during the Reverto redesign—working on form to enhance emotional response, rather than focusing solely on aesthetics.
The project fulfilled two strategic objectives. First, clarity and cognitive comfort, through a readable interface aligned with Reverto’s guidelines and focused on user perception. Second, bringing the VR experience to screen, bridging two different media without losing the technological edge and impact of Reverto’s solutions.
